S-Video is only able to go to, 480 There are a few things to check first. If the recipient of a DirecTV high-definition model, it does not seem able to reach 1080 (HD) in other words. If you must have an HD receiver to the TV with composite video (red, green, blue) cables and a separate audio cable. If you have a receiver with an HDMI cable have (it looks like a USB connecting cable) and TV out with an HDMI input, then a cable, audio and video. However, if you have a composite cable or HDMI, which will never reach 1080th
You will not be 1080 in this field. You will need a DirecTV HD box, which is connected by component or HDMI cables. Additionally, you must pay extra for HD service from DIRECTV. It should also be able to get a free antenna on the air-box connector to HD channels and local HD.
